So glad to see this legend get a National Championship ring. He started it all by staying home. Thanks #3 and congrats!!

He stopped the elite talent leaving the state and was a huge part of bringing back the magic.

K Faulk is my all time favorite tiger! He was a baller, no doubt!

Bill Bilichick said in an interview I was watching that he is one of his favorite players he has ever coached.

I was like 13 when Faulk came in. I remember how exciting he was. Rondel, Faulk, Foster, Tyler. Loved those guys. I think the year before Faulk came Kendal Cleveland was the starting RB. Dude looked hard as frick but wasn’t very good.

True. He was Gerry D's first big recruit. Wasn't he leaning toward Colorado at the time?

And he stayed his senior year when Alan faneca was the first to ever leave LSU early and start the new terrible trend of juniors leaving.

No need to be disparaging Cleveland, bro.

Thought Eddie Kennison was the first to leave early?

He was leaning toward Notre Dame. Faulk had an infant daughter, and that was a big factor in his decision to stay in state.

Nonsense! Gerry DiNardo did nothing for this program...so say many on the Rant.

The trend didn't start at LSU. These guy want to go to the NFL. The more they get to the NFL, the faster they get there, the better recruits we get. The more we win.
I'd rather a bunch of die hard 5 year seniors, but its not realistic in todays game.
