I'm going with the latter....sorry, downvote away.

Dude was a stud when he was here but has acted a damned fool too many times to think he's anything other than a petulant, attention whore.

The hair color shite, antics on the sidelines with the Giants, me-first attitude in Cleveland....all this shite has worn thin.

So he shows up on our sideline Monday night, and instead of just enjoying the atmosphere and soaking it in with the other celebs, he acts a god-damned fool with Jefferson just to get some limelight.

The dude needs to back off and realize he aint done shite yet in the NFL really worth mentioning.

Downvote away...but ask yourself this question....if that was your son acting that way on national TV would you be proud?

People on here act like he's Antonio Brown cussing out the police on Instagram or being accused of sexual assault. He's a little too loud? Yes. He's he hurting anyone? No.

Both, you take the good that present or bring to the program (recruits love him) and the bad (too much attention on Him) with this program. The coaches need to filter him just a little bit.

Obj has done more good for the university than anyone posting in the endless obj threads.

The players obviously love him, get over it.

frick that attention whore. He has to make everything about him. Even if it was fake money (which it wasn’t), why even give the NCAA a bone? Then the guy is trying to talk while O is trying to speak to the team after the game. I’d ban him from all team functions.

Ah yes. Can't shite on anyone on the team this year so it's time to hate former players. Rant gonna rant.

I love the OBJ haters. You people literally have no concept of the NFL or high level college culture for athletes.

The players on LSU's team LOVE HIM. They LOVEEEEE him. He's extremely likable, does tons of things for that team, truly wants them to succeed. Every player on that team comes in and OBJ treats them as a true friend/little brother.

Has he ever been arrested? Has he ever gotten busted for drugs or beating women? His worst crime is that he dyes his hair, wears bright colors, and is around the program too much.

So if he's good to our program, donates time and money, helps connect kids to the program...why must we dislike him so much? I don't understand it at all. I really have zero idea. Jefferson and Chase both wore cleats for the title game that he gave them.

I can see where he rubs people the wrong way, but he’s been a huge positive for LSU. The players admire and look up to him, and if they enjoy him around the program, swagga enjoys him around the program.

I agree with you 100%. BUT, the kids love him and it helps with recruiting.

I think he's great even if he can be cringey sometimes. I don't care about whether he's an attention whore or not, honestly. To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. And ultimately he's an entertainer, and he entertains me. I don't think he reflects any more poorly on LSU than any other athlete, or rather, the effect any athlete has on a school after they leave is overstated.

About if he was my son? I try not to judge people because they are different than me. I wouldn't act that way. But, as I said, he's not hurting anyone.
