Why would a NFL team want cash in a trade? There's a salary cap & it does nothing to help the team.

A great QB can change your franchise’s outlook by nine figures worth of money. This won’t get Carolina anywhere with Cincy.

If you’re an owner you wouldn’t want a couple mill cash in your pocket?

If you’re a Pelican fan, remember Griffin paying for facility upgrades 100% through trades he made.

I don't think that would go over very well with the fanbase, players, & coaches.

Said Mike Brown known for being a cheap owner and cash might help him make the trade.

Owners are billionaires, it's going to take alot more cash than a couple of million to move the needle.

Tepper has really deep pockets. 50 million would not surprise me.

That's a good way to get the entire city & organization to turn against you.

Mike Brown gives zero shits about his fanbase. He's also probably the only owner who actually would take cash in exchange for draft picks.

Saints should offer Drew, Kamara, some picks, cash, etc....just to make the Panthers offer more.
