Laugh all you want but their HC careers have been very similar.
And Chizik was even an outstanding coordinator before getting his HC shot, unlike O.
It will be interesting to see how O follows this up, although I certainly think it’s easier to recruit, and therefore win, at LSU than it is at Auburn.
Whatever happens, O has earned his place in the Tiger history books for the greatest season in school history

You can't be complacent. Once you're at the top the job to stay there is even harder than what it took to get there. I don't think Chizik realized this.
I think it's human nature to want to kick your feet up and rest on your laurels a bit. The second you do that the opposition will eat you alive.

Orgeron wont take us off the cliff like Chizik did at Auburn but it’s definitily possible we could slip back to 3/4 losses per year. We’ll see what happens

Orgeron recruits way better than Chiz did, and no one will outwork him. I have full faith and am onboard! IMO, LSU is about to overtake Bama. I’ve never seen a coach that markets their program better than Ed Orgeron. If he weren’t a coach, he’d make a helluva Head of Client Relations. LSU is here to stay, and this year will pay huge dividends in next year’s recruiting cycle.
