Kicking a kid out of school VIA EMAIL based on a picture taken at a local restaurant, and other "lifestyle violations"
Look, it's a private school, so they can do what they want.
But it amazes me that parents would sign up for this crap. Why would a parent subject themselves and their kids to Nosy Nellies looking online for off-campus activities / situations to use to kick a kid out?

Her rainbow top and a colorful birthday cake were captured in a photo her mother Kimberly Alford later shared on social media.

But the post was shared with staff at Kayla’s school, and apparently, it was the last straw for Whitefield Academy. A few days later, Kimberly was contacted by Head of School, Dr. Bruce Jacobson.
“It was an email expelling Kayla from Whitefield immediately due to a post on social media,” Alford said. “I feel judged, she feels judged, just very devastating for us.”
The private school claims the picture is the latest in two years’ worth of “lifestyle violations.” In the email, Dr. Jacobson said the picture “demonstrates a posture of morality and cultural acceptance contrary to that of Whitefield Academy’s beliefs.”

The code of conduct does address sexual orientation and says if a student’s off-campus behavior isn’t in line with the school’s beliefs, that student can be disciplined.

Going to be funny when one of the holier than thou Christian teachers at this school gets caught having gay sex

Sometimes a rainbow is just a rainbow. But why would you want your kid educated at such an odd thinking place.

A little different but I went to one back in the day but in our case, football team lining up for opening kickoff we were all adjusting our junk during the invocation. A few parents complained but coach never said anything

Shocking, religious school follows religion

All she has to do is go to the principle, cry and said she has sinned, it was the devil in her and she has asked for forgiveness and they will let her back in,

Letting niche culture define God's symbol of a covenant with Man?
It's a rainbow shirt and a rainbow cake, for a girl's birthday.
And theyre going full.

And based upon your post picture... they couldn't even personalize the letter to name the parents?
I wonder why they waited 6 weeks to expel her?

So rainbows automatically equal gay?
Like I said in my OP, school can do whatever they want, I'm just surprised parents pay good money to put up with this crap.

Without knowing the extend of the other issues from the past two years, it is hard to say why this is the last straw.
If the family pushes this issue, the rest of those warnings will come out and some point and could greatly change the public perception of what happened.

The six weeks was likely “here is your official warning, knock that shite off.” And things did not change.

Great.
Now do the public schools.
Add the public and private up.
See which one is more stupid.

I'm fairly certain the public schools aren't kicking out kids because they wore a rainbow shirt to dinner at a local dining establishment.
