The kid has had a great career and is a tremendous talent. He deserves respect.

But Burrow and LSU would have beaten anybody.

He was off all night, couldn’t move the chain after the first quarter.

Is not an accurate passer, especially under pressure. Very weak adaptation/improvising skills.

This is what SEC prepares you for.

I think he is great and will only get better. 29-1 as a starter is pretty fantastic.
The way he gave lsu props speaks magnitudes. He had no excuses and took the loss like a man.
I thought Dabo and him would be classless and I was completely wrong.

Looked like he was overthrowing receivers a lot plus I think he was hearing footsteps a lot.

It's probably a good thing he doesn't play in the SEC West.

He's getting a lot of flack for being high and wide, but you gotta credit the Tiger DBs for competing on just about every throw. The windows were small.

I think it’s fair to ask, is Jontre Kirklin as good a QB as Trevor Lawrence?

Probably not, but then again, my alma mater had a string of all-american QBs one after another so anything is possible?

Trevor would do just fine in the SEC West, you can't say that any of the other QBs (aside from Joe Burrow (and even that could be debated) are better QBs, Trevor is just a generational talent we hardly ever see and I fully expect him and Clemson to win it all next season.

Watching Dabo trying to console him on the sidelines speaks volumes about Trevor Lawrence. Dabo brought him in to one of the top programs in the country.........started him as a freshman (all earned and deserved)....but the kid refused to make eye contact with his coach. I lost a lot of respect for the kid..

Relies way too much on the strength of his arm

I thought just the opposite, looked WAAAAY overrated to me. I was not impressed. That was the first time I ever saw him play a whole game.

he's a great athlete, but definitely struggled with accuracy this season... if you remember they struggled to score points vs. A&M and North Carolina early in the season.

his breakout performance vs Alabama the previous year featured a ton of ridiculous catches on inaccurate throws, he didn't get those this year

Dude was seeing ghost blitzes, watch him again...

He took so many hits the first quarter and a half, he was shell-shocked, adrenaline was keeping him upright...

Add to it his ball placement in not finely tuned, his receivers WERE ACTUALLY COVERED, and he was more worried about not throwing a pick, versus throwing a catchable ball...

You end up with overthrows...not the first time he's done it...

Guy is only a Sophomore, and had never lost. He had a bad game, it was eventually going to happen. That Alabama team, that Lawrence beat as a Freshman, had thrown LSU around like a redheaded step child for a number of seasons.

He’s the white Cam Newton without the bad character.

Big, fast, strong arm and a tad inaccurate.
