Progressives and neo-Marxists across the country blushed at the thought of San Francisco having an unabashed socialist as district attorney who pledged to radically reshape the city's criminal justice practices.
quote:
Just two days on the job, Chesa Boudin is delivering on what he promised: the Bay Area's new D.A. has fired seven prosecutors, many of them seasoned veterans who have worked to get violent criminals off the streets.
"I had to make difficult staffing decisions today in order to put in place a management team that will help me accomplish the work I committed to do for San Francisco," Boudin said in a statement to KPIX-TV.
quote:
Among those fired on Friday was Mike Swart, who worked for 10 years as an attorney in the San Francisco D.A.'s homicide unit. Swart was a well-respected prosecutor who helped bring to justice the killer of Pearla Ann Louis, a woman who was murdered and stuffed into a suitcase.
quote:
Other prosecutors who were terminated included: Linda Allen, managing attorney; Ana Gonzalez, head of the gang unit; and four trial attorneys with significant experience.
"What's strange is that these people aren't being moved, they're not being demoted, they're being fired and they're being told that essentially their services have no use in the office anymore," Tony Brass, a former assistant D.A. who was critical of the terminations, told CBS San Francisco.

Which is what? Lower the crime rate by simply not prosecuting crimes?

SF should just be burned to the ground and started anew... The left has ruined that city

Seriously, what is the end game for someone like this? Does Chesa think a radical new approach of not prosecuting crime is somehow going to eliminate crime and improve the quality of life for San Franciscans?

Which is what?
they about to solve prison overcrowding by no longer sending any criminals to jail
everyone will do community service and then go home
assault and rape = 1 week picking up trash and shite in the streets
murder and attempted murder = 2 weeks picking up trash and shite in the streets
all other crimes = 2-3 days picking up trash and shite in the streets

Boudin was born in New York City.[1] His parents, Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, were Weather Underground members.[2]
When Boudin was 14 months old, his parents were arrested for murder in their role as getaway car drivers in the Brink's robbery of 1981 in Rockland County, New York.[1][3] His mother was sentenced to 20 years to life[4] and his father to 75 years to life for the felony murders of two police officers and a security guard.[5] After his parents were incarcerated, Boudin was raised in Chicago by adoptive parents Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, who, like his parents, had been members of the Weather Underground.[6] Boudin did not learn to read until age 9, a phenomenon common to children of incarcerated parents.[7] Kathy Boudin was released under parole supervision in 2003.[3][8]

DescriptionChesa Boudin is an American lawyer, writer, and lecturer specializing in the U.S. criminal justice system and Latin American policy.
Chesa Boudin and his mother, Kathy Boudin, in the maximum security prison where she served her sentence for her involvement in the 1981 Brinks heist, which left three people dead.
Chesa Boudin, the son of 1960s radicals imprisoned for a robbery in which two police officers were murdered, told the San Francisco Chronicle that he will immediately get to work reforming San Francisco’s criminal justice system after narrowly winning election over the interim district attorney and establishment-backed candidate Suzy Loftus.
The Boudin name has a long pedigree in communist and terrorist circles. His maternal grandfather, attorney Leonard Boudin, in addition to being a member of the Communist Party USA, was the longtime legal counsel for Fidel Castro’s communist dictatorship, and was infamous for defending communists, terrorists, and leftists of every stripe. Chesa Boudin's parents were members of the terrorist Weather Underground. What's more, they helped build a bomb factory in San Francisco to aid in their war against “Amerika.” Chesa Boudin says he is committed to the same goals to which his parents were, and are, committed. They have not repudiated their past violence — which included bombings, rioting, mayhem, and murder.
We will return to the matter of Chesa Boudin’s radicalism and that of his parents and mentors, but first there is another matter that is also important: George Soros. Over the past several years, the radical billionaire and champion of Communist China has dropped millions of dollars into district attorney races across the country.

As long as morons keep letting Soros control them, this insanity will spread.
He is putting money in the Orleans DA race against Cannizzaro. Because when you read the headlines in New Orleans, the first thing that comes to mind is "the problem is we prosecute too many people!!!"

Chesa is a marxist. He's out to destroy SanFran, not improve it.
Him and every other socialist deserve a free helicopter ride.
