Yep, I agree 100%. frick the rest of the SEC. I don't pull for any sec teams unless it directly benefits LSU for them to win. Especially in the sec west, why would you pull for programs that you are in recruiting battles with perennially? It makes zero sense. Geaux Tigers. frick Dem.

At one point everyone wanted to exclude the SEC from the National Championship as much as they could! We started the SECCG TO change that bullshite! I remember!

100% agreed!!
Around 2006 or so, it semi made some sense. Felt like the sec was getting a lack of respect. But after winning 5 or 6 BCS titles, bama having a few of those, it didn’t need to be chanted anymore. And now, it definitely doesn’t.

Chant LSU of course !!!! But it was the consistent domination of the SEC that that got us here. Being from the South is just freaking different!

Then your memory isn’t too good
There was no “National Championship” to be excluded from. Some times we had a 1 vs 2 match up but mostly it was Conference winners to certain bowls. The SECCG started in 1992 and Bama won the title vs Miami. In 1979 #2 Bama won a 1 vs 2 matchup vs #1Penn St. UGA won the title in 1980 vs 4 ND and lost as #1 vs 2 Penn St in 82. Between that and 92 there were no SEC teams that were 1 or 2 going into the bowls so no attempt to keep the out. But the regional insecurity is a big reason for the stupid root for the SEC mentally
