Of course he will, at Clemson he is just one "North Carolina" loss away from missing the playoffs every year based on the weak ACC schedule. He will likely be the next Bama HC.

A. He makes more than Nick

B. He is getting better recruits at Clemson than Bama is

C. Clemson is too tight nit and small for any of their violations to ever leak.

D. Dabo would be more of a legend for bringing Clemson a decade of championships than being the 3rd coach to do so at Bama

Following Saban to Bama is the worst move he could ever make. Take a look at the track re it’s of coaches following legends. He’s got it made at Clemson, but if he wants a challenge, go to USC, Michigan, orTexas to build a former great back up- not maintain a near dynasty of Saban.

Hopefully it won't be Joe Brady now.

This is merely speculation on my part, but Dabo's future plans could explain why Venables hasn't left Clemson. He may know Dabo is just waiting for Saban to retire, and he's secretly the HC in waiting at Clemson.
