About to make a quick move for my MIL from where she lives to about 4 miles away at a memory care center. Coming to the OT for a mover who is trustworthy/reasonable. Who might you recommend? Thanks in advance. Willing to pay more than treefiddy...

I Goggled Langland and came up with nothing. Student Movers Inc? Two men and a truck? All my sons? Abba?
Those come up on a search. Any experience out there?

Langland may not have a website. He's a local guy.
Posts here though maybe he'll post his contact info.

I priced Two Men and a Truck and All My Sons.... both were around $1500 for a 3 bedroom home
I work construction so I got 2 Mexicans at $100 a piece for the day, and it was $200 for the big Uhaul
My advice, do your homework....I didn't think moving was so expensive

Did you try “googling” it? I think the goggles were your first mistake

I rented a U-Haul and hired one of the independent contractors on their site at the same time. It worked out great. Just make sure to read the reviews on the movers before you decide.

Thanks to recommendations on the OT I have used ABBA twice for local moves. I was very pleased each time.

I'll second 2 Men and Truck. Used them 3 times and had good experience and reasonable price every time

Two Men and Truck. Great job. It was around $500 for a 3 bedroom house and they had me moved in 5 hours.
