Max Emfinger hasn't been relevant on the recruiting scene since the Hallman and Dinardo days!

He may not be relevant now, but he is the precursor to Rivals/Scout, etc.
I remember when the only info available to GP was the Advocate's yearly special on LA's top players and Emfingers magazine.

Kyle Ridley is a quarterback from st. martin's episcopal school in metairie, louisiana. He was one of the highest rated passers in the state his junior and senior year. He has a very strong arm but his only minus is his height. He is around 6 ft tall so he wasn't as higly recruited as he should have been. However, his height makes him similar to successful quarterbacks such as drew brees, chase daniel, todd reesing, and troy smith. He also has great running ability.
The reason he is not on the roster is because he is a recruited walk-on and only scholarship athletes are on the roster. However, do not be surprised if he is a top competitor with destrehan's jordan jefferson for the third spot at quarterback.

ha, as a St. Martin's alumn, it's hard to imagine a STM quarterback ever getting playing time at LSU, but I suppose stranger things have happened. I guess they have video of him lighting up Fisher or Crescent City or something.
