My guess - The suppressors mean no ear protection needed (easier coms) and it makes their exact position (origin of shot) less identifiable.

Can help with balance and accuracy at longer ranges. Give you at least 100 FPS more velocity at expulsion as a naked barrel.

Looking at those pictures I am not sure those are cans. What ever that is looks like it comes below the muzzle.

They are all zero'd with the suppressors. Taking them off would change the point of impact. Those guys shoot more rounds in a month than most of us do in a lifetime.
