Sample size of one.
Lots of different variables at play. Simply put: suppressor =\= guaranteed mv increase.
Anyways... at this thread.

Just a PSA, with all the Secret Service presence, LSU fans will have to wait until once inside the stadium to fill the piss balloons.

The CFP NC game is, obviously, a big deal. Sadly, in the minds of others, there are a lot of potential targets.
I was working as an observer many years ago for a (Alabama Reservists) Chemical Company going through AT at Fort McCoy. They were preparing to rotate into an "on call" position with NORTHCOM.
I explained to them that, people of the mindset to cause harm didn't have to actually use a WMD, but could merely stand up, throw down a test tube of harmless, albeit obviously colored gas, and wait for people to trample each other. (I used this scenario in the context of Talledega, but any large and quasi-contained sporting event would do)
I also assume that security for this game will be through the roof. Metal detectors, appropriate people patrolling the parking lot, etc.

"What I mean by that, sir, is if you was to put me and this here sniper rifle anywhere up to and including one mile from Adolf Hitler... with a clean line of sight... Pack your bags, fellas. War's over. Amen." Private Jackson....

That is why I started my original response with "can" - it "can" do those things because I have experienced both. I have not shot every weapon made (though I am working on it) but the ones I have I shoot quit a bit and my response was not intended to be all encompassing but an example of a reason why someone would use a can.
Indeed Geaux Tigers.

My guess is for sure a few snipers will be way up top at the dome in those steel walkways that go in a circle.

Not really sure I understand the need for a suppressor in that scenario
They are all zero'd with the suppressors. Taking them off would change the point of impact. Those guys shoot more rounds in a month than most of us do in a lifetime.

That’s kinda scary just to know they are looking up there
