That’s my point. Carters inaction led the Iranians to feel empowered they could act anyway they choose without fear of repercussions.

The world would be a better place if he did. The world would FEAR is and thus no one would dare frick with us. There is a quote that goes something like it is better to be Feared than to be loved if you cannot have both.
They will never love us because we don’t worship their goat fricker so they MUST fear us. It is the only way to get their respect. A Neutron Bomb in Terran would definitely cause a lot of people to Fear us. Light one off and say the next American that dies or if we see a protest in the streets saying Death to America, we will light another one of these bad boys in your home town or maybe Mecca and Medina.

You have no idea how close we were. We flew sorties to Tehran and informed them the first wave was conventional, the second would be nuclear. We dont give to shats about a few hostages, but no one will fck with the United States...and they suddenly acquiesed....imagine that.
