I was a server at Sno's for 3 yrs in college...pretty decent food.
Kamal's (greek/lebanese) is right next to Sno's, and they have great food.

Definitely Sno's. Good seafod and steaks. You could try D'Angelo's for Italian. Or Charlie Brown's for a sports bar/Restaurant.

There is a current thread on The Cabin which is in Gonzales. I haven't had a meal there in years but just remember it being average.
I recommend driving to St. Gabriel to eat at Roberto's on River Road. Also a drive across the Diversion canal to Kevin's or Hilltop Inn in French Settlement is a good idea.
Sno's is good and has great lunch specials.
My sister loves El Meskal for Mexican food.

Good luck finding a decent sit-down place in Gonzales.
Sno's
Outback
Cracker Barrel
Chilis
El Meskal (not the cleanest but good and cheap)
Piccadilly (if you even want to consider that)
Western Sizzlin'
Golden Budda (decent buffet Chinese)
Grand Wall (
)
Nick's Pizza & Subs

Mike AndersonsETA: Gonzales, not PVille- sorry)
You may have better luck in Prairieville:

Spagetti Time
Rocco's
Gio's (fairly expensive Italian)
K Michaels (pricy)
Sizzin' Wings
Frank's Smokehouse
Charlie Browns
Hoagie 'n' Deaux

Sno's is a lot of hype in my opinion. They have a lot of locals that swear by it but my experience has always been average.
The Cabin for lunch is really good, but if possible go a little further to Houmas House for the lunch (well worth it).
Where are you going in G-town? You don't want to have to drive across the city to eat lunch, but if you are off Airline you might be screwed!!
Kamal's is great. The Gyro Pasta is an interesting take on greek. Not a huge menu for lunch, but still very good.
If you are in the Prairieville (near I-10) there is a good place called Coastal Coffee next to the Popeye's.
El Meskal brings in the local Mexicans, I have heard good things about it.

I don't think this is in G-town. The offices may be now because one of their owners/finance guys lives there.
