Trevor Lawrence turnaround mid season

Has anyone else noticed the complete shift in passing game Clemson made mid season to help TL get away from all the turnovers?
Looking at film from the first 4 games and last season you see Trevor Lawrence attack undersized DB's with deep throws to the boundaries and let his elite wideouts go get the ball.
Post UNC they abandoned that to a great extent and went to a more short passing game over the middle and relied on YAC almost identical to what Bama was doing with their 3 great receivers.
I dont believe they will have the ability to rely on the run game and a short passing attack this game after the first quarter. If things go as they have for the majority of big games this season Burrow will attack and quickly put them into catchup mode. They will be forced to throw deep again and for some reason they haven't been nearly as successful this year.

Last years Clemson is in the discussion for top 5 all time. This years Clemson is nothing to that

Agreed, but my main point here is in regards to the interceptions they were plagued with early in the season just all of a sudden getting fixed.
Everyone just credits TL for playing better. While that has it's part in it, I believe they adjusted schemes for it and that wont work this game.

TL can make all the throws , we have not changed up anything. Nobody can make some of the throws TL can , Joe has a little better touch on the long balls and that’s not by much. The success JB had this year was systemic and he will be a flash in the pan .
You people keep believing those big bad SEC teams you played are as good as Clemson lol.
I really can’t believe I have read that so much on here. The melt down is going to be delightful when the dream season gets ruined Jan 13

You are exactly the fanboy type I pointed out in a different thread. You bring no substance to any conversation and merely attack players with nothing to back up what your saying.
Go back to discussing " who was called Tigers first OMG!!!" you know squat about football obviously.
Nowhere did I state TL cant make a throw.
Your inability to understand what JB is doing is exactly the bullshite every other fanbase did pregame delusional as ever.

Burrow is more accurate and more consistent. Trevor Lawrence’s misses are typically way, way off. He’s got better arm strength than Joe, but that’s about it.

The idiot doesn't even understand I wasn't saying anything about his ability to make the throw. Its about the scheme and what they were trying to achieve. They used the tall rangy wideouts ability to go up and get 50/50 balls to lethal efficiency. They ran up against some better db's and that changed.

So you make up a story like saying Clemson changed it’s O around because TL couldn’t throw the back shoulder anymore?
Did you dream this or make it up in your head .
The only reason he is good now is because of short passes and YAC ?

Who said shite about back shoulder or him just being good due to yac?
Gtfo I'm not responding to retarded fanboys anymore. Find somewhere I stated either of those things and quote me or just go away. I haven't said shite about back shoulder, idiot.

Joe is insanely accurate to 45 yards...he throws into the over safety at that range and hits his player's numbers 7/10 times, hits the 50/50 zone for both players 9/10 times...
I've just never seen that on 40 yard passes, OVER AND OVER AGAIN

The question is, will you come back to eat crow?

If by flash in the pan you mean better than your QB then yes, he is a flash in the pan.

I love all these threads that basically say, your quarterback is a system QB, ours is gigantically more awesome than sliced bread.
The truth, Clemson focused on more running this season mid-season because TL was pressing to make the big plays. Has nothing to do with lack of ability, just a young player believing in some of his hype. TL earlier this year believed his talent could overcome good scheme, it cannot. TL has settled and is now back to taking what the defense gives him, very under control against OSU. Kudos to him. He will have a good career in the NFL once he takes that next step if he can.
Simply stated, for as good as TL is this year, Joe has taken that next step that TL has not yet. Joe is a 5th year senior prepping like an NFL QB. JB is better than TL at this point in his career. JB has transcended relying purely on talent, which he has in spades. He is now diagnosing and applying that talent within the system. JB's understanding of the system they are running and what other defenses can do to him in that system is way beyond TL at this point in their careers.
That is not a knock on TL, it is just JB has been doing it longer and understands the game better. He is applying his talent with that understanding to a matchup style NFL offense and it is devastating in college football.
To be honest, the reason LSU has gotten better and better on offense is not because of JB, he knew it and understood it first. The fact that everyone around him from oline, rb, and WR are starting to understand and apply their talents to the system is why you get 48-7 in the first half of a playoff game.
The team that only scored 23 on Auburn is not the same team that will face Clemson. Likewise, the team that barely beat UNC is not the team LSU will be facing.
