Further down on that thread, some geniuses said that LSU might go to a up-tempo offense because OSU had success with it in the first Q against them.
You can tell they've seen a lot of LSU games this year...

I would also be surprised to see LSU not try to go up-tempo. However, I think we have one saving grace that it's LSU instead of OSU, because I really think we can outscore them if necessary. That wasn't an option with OSU's defense.

I choose to disregard their pop, and wishful thinking, psychology and replace it with my own:
Lawrence is poor QB based on the fact that is all projection onto others what they fear about themselves but can't admit.

I hope to goodness he’s a system quarterback! That means we about to go back to back to back lol

Why does it bother you when people say burrow is a system QB? I hope he is. Brennan will then go off next year just as much

I sure as hell hope Burrow is a system QB. If our system turns your average Joe into a 58 TD, 5000+ yard Heisman winning machine, LSU bout to run straight over the rest of the country for the foreseeable future.

Brees has excelled in every system. Excelled at every sport he played. How does this make him a system QB?

If it means we see elite QB play from here on out at LSU, then I hope they’re right.

The "system QB" claim is going to be an issue for him during Draft season, for sure, but it has no bearing on the next game...since, you know, the "system" he's in isn't changing over the next two weeks.

In their mind they have already lost.

Every team has a system
Every QB is expected to play within that system
Every QB is a system QB
Every QB is expected to play within that system
Every QB is a system QB

Well hell, we must have a really great system then. Brennan, step up son, you're the next Heisman winner.

Exactly. And that is exactly what you want. Would you prefer a loose cannon? “Everyone go deep”, “On three”.

He is a system quarterback. Whatever system you put, he'll be a great quarterback in it. Every team has a system.. What's the f****** point? That he would suck at 7 on 7?

System QB’s don’t get projected as the #1 pick in the NFL draft.

Why is it relevant?
Let’s say for the sake of argument that it’s true. That Burrow is really more a product of the system and not that he’s actually a good QB. How does that help them win this game? It’s obvious at this point “the system” is working extremely effectively. It’s not like we are going to change “the system” for the next game.

They have no idea what they are about to see. quote:Joe’s stance is telling. Body language experts say the way he holds his jersey collar during interviews displays hidden feelings; Body Language Category: Arousal, Lying or deceptive body language or dishonesty Nervous, Stressful body language, Nervous energy.
If you had a full blown Tranny as your team's QB, you would want to do some "projection" onto your opponent's QB too!!!
They need to keep telling themselves lies to keep up the facade until its too late to deny the truth at the end of the game.

They’re 100% correct. Have you seen the way he and Laura Rutledge look at each other during interviews?
I noticed the same thing...every time Laura Rutledge stands close to Burrow, much less looks in Joe's eyes (she buckled at the knees at the SEC Champ. Game), she gets wet and creams in her pants...and she is a married woman!!!
That woman wants Joe to get into her "System"...

Pat Mahomes was in a system (first full season: 66% 5097 pass yards 50 TD 12 int 272 rush yards 2 TD, 2nd season in a shortened year: 66% 4031 pass yards 26 TD 5 int 212 rush yards 2 TD)
Kyler Murray was in a system (rookie: 64% 3722 pass yards 20 TD 12 ints, 544 rush yards 4 TDs behind one of the worst OL in the league)
Baker Mayfield was in a system (rookie: 64% 3725 pass yards 27 TD 14 int, yeah he had a sophomore slump, but I'd like to remind people of Brees while he was with the Chargers)
Jared Goff was in a system (first full season: 62% 3804 pass yards 28 TD 7 int, 2nd full season 65% 4688 pass yards 32 TD 12 int)
Deshaun Watson was in a system. (Rookie 6 games: 61% 1699 pass yards 19 TD 8 int, 269 rush yards 2 TD, first full season: 68% 4165 pass yards 26 TD 9 int, 551 rush yards 5 TD)
These are guys that they questioned if they would work in the NFL playing in a system in college. Obviously it doesn't matter and people are stupid to believe it did. If you can't tell individual talent from everyday system talent, then you don't watch football closely.
