I was too drunk to let it sink and it took about 12 hours or so... then I got drunk again to celebrate and watch the Saints go 13-3.

Coach O had a vision and made it a reality. Many of us, including me, thought it was never going to be a reality with O as HC. We were WRONG! And I've never been so happy to be so wrong about something

Yep. Same feeling hit me today.

We’re there. Where every other team in America wants to be. What everyone was working for in August. We’re one of the last two standing.

Unbelievable. It’s like a dream.

Need to win this next one and finish the deal. No guarantee they ever get back again with this system of playoffs and brutal sec schedule.

Starting around 2015 I repeatedly said firing Miles was the only option despite his above average success. I knew firing him didn't guarantee LSU would rise to where they wanted to be (and could result in a TN-like crash), but keeping Miles guaranteed the program would never get there.

Firing him gave the program a chance. Keeping him was death.

It had to be done. I was pissed in 2014 but the ole miss game gave me hope that he hadn't lost the team. That offseason change would take place as he explained to us. 2015 came around and fournette ran wild. Bama game that year end my miles support

Keeping Miles would have been letting “good get in the way of great. “
