13-3 division winners have gotten a bye every year except twice. The Saints have have the privilege of owning both of them.
This is a horseshite argument. We have horrible luck as a franchise even when we are good and I find it more and more amazing every year that we got to witness a Super Bowl win.

We went 13-3 with our Hall of Fame QB out for five games and our starting 1st rd draft pick DT & DE on IR.
Tough break getting the third seed, but sometimes you just need a little luck and it didn’t break our way this year.
