Clemson gave up 320 yards passing from Fields at 7.0 yards per attempt and 174 yards rushing from Dobbins at 9.7 yards per rush.

Ohio State was on the Clemson 23 with 37 seconds left when Fields threw an uncharacteristic INT.

I don't think Clemson will hang.

OTOH, Clemson's leading rusher was Lawrence and he had fairly pedestrian passing stats.Their leading receiver was Etienne, their RB.

Also, we held OU to the fewest yards from scrimmage since 2015.

Clemson's D looks really slow.

I texted that same thing to some friends last night. I was not impressed.

OMG......LSU has heard this “best defense yet” since the Florida game. I am sure Clemson has an adequate defense...but like all the other teams LSU has played....Clemson has no idea. I expect more of what LSU has dealt out all year.

Yes. Absolutley. You guys are kidding yourselves if you think or say otherwise. That said, they won't hold us under 45. Our execution is on a level the likes of which they've never seen anything remotely close to

They’ll be a lot like Florida, but I thought Auburn and Georgia were the best defenses we’ve seen. We shredded Florida tho and e’rbody else too. Clemson’s problem is that they’re a two dimensional running team and that’s not going to keep up.

Heck No! They have too many white boys on defense! They won’t be able to keep up with our skill players.

How many times this season have we heard 'best defense' we will face -and yet, the results are all the same- No one has been able to slow down our offense!!

I would agree with you for the most part but they most certainly did not play a cupcake last night.

I understand what you are saying, but a controversial call and Olave slipping on his route on Field's last pass is what stopped them from scoring 37. Hell they put up over 500 yards of offense. Reminded me of the game when we played vs Auburn and we kept shooting ourselves in the foot.

When Ohio State started out, I thought Clemson’s D was a step behind. A good unit but lacking star players. They have to play together to make it work. IMO Auburn was the best defense that we played with a close second to Georgia.

Venables is a great defensive coordinator with not as much talent as some teams we have faced. They will have the best overall coaching staff we have faced.

I am sorry but Clemson's D is not that great. I do not know what game yall were watching but OSU beat themselves. Clemson's D looks really slow. Their linebackers are not good at all and the secondary isnt as well. They were beat many times last night. And dont tell me about stats. They played a high school schedule this year. Of course their stats are good. Key to their offense is honestly stopping the run and playing man to man on the back end. Very similar to what we did with OK. We win this one easily running away by 20+ Some of you all need to relax. Its almost like yall want it to be close or something and are so ready to panic. This game will be very similar to rest of the games we have played this year. We win it easily.

Thank you. I said the same about Oklahoma and UGA before we played them. None of them played offenses even semi close to ours and they thought they could shut us down or at the very least limit us. People like to talk about our defense, but we have held every QB except for Ehlinger and surprisingly the freshman Shrader at Miss St (who was picked twice and only completed 60%), at 56% or under. The only problem is that we give up huge chunk plays that go for big TDs.

Clemson has no experience facing anything close to what LSU does. LSU and Ohio St do not run the same type of offense. Burrow is laps ahead of Fields in the cerebral aspect of the QB position, and Jefferson will tear them up with their slow LBs.

They can't cover the middle of the field against this offense, and that's what Burrow has attacked all year against aggressive defenses.

Which receiver to they sell out to stop? Both of LSU's top 2 guys can explode for 200+ yard days if you try to stop the other guy. Chase is going to be playing mad after the OU game.

I do not see Clemson having ANY answers for the LSU offense. None.
