Meanwhile LSU will be facing just another top 10 team like they have faced 5 times already.

What a great season it has been!

Agree.

OU is not the best team LSU has faced this year.

The only game tougher than the first game of CFP is the second one.

My daughter goes to OU and I participate in a large private Facebook group for OU Football. It rankles the shite out of many there because I don't pull punches and don't see the OU team through Crimson glasses like they do.

OU is no better than a lower tier top 10 team this year. The ONLY reason OU is in this game is because they backed in because of barely staying unbeaten during the most critical time of the year against the inferior competition of the Big XII and other schools like Oregon, Utah, Penn State and Minnesota didn't take care of their own destiny. OU is NOT an elite team this year. They lost to a 7-5 Iowa State team, barely won against a 5-7 TCU team on a referee call that was blatantly biased to keep OU from losing, and somehow orchestrated a win in OT against a Baylor team that they barely beat once before. Baylor barely beat Rice (3-9).

OU is not a complete team. They have some elite athletes in Hurts and Lamb, but that's where it stops. They benefited from a lackluster, down year for all Big 12 schools and some creative referee calls. TCU held Hurts to 145 yards in the air and only 2 catches for Lamb for 16 yards. A reminder: TCU went 5-7.

Lot of truth there.

Best scenario for OU: Combination of OU playing above themselves, lights out & LSU having a turnover fest.

If it’s business as usual, this game ain’t close & Vegas knows it.

The winner of the #2 v #3 game is facing the toughest team they'll potentially play all year.

LSU had never even been good enough to make a playoff game until this year. The fact that you are high-fiving him over that "zinger" is good comedy.

I would say our toughest opponents in order were/are

Bama
Florida
Auburn
Georgia/OU

Put Florida over Auburn because Nix sucked. We blew red zone chances against Auburn that made that score closer than it should have been.

This is very accurate. Well said. I'm not looking at box scores or talking about stats. I've seen them play. For OU to win they would need to be flawless and Burrow would need to be off and turn the ball over. They certainly could win, but I just can not see it.

The Sooners were very fortunate to beat Iowa State 42 - 41
