OU fan - "What this man has done is being extremely undersold.I am going full throttle with respect for this man. He took a team ranked in the 100'S to a top 25 defense.WOW....WOW.....WOW!!!!!!! Fear LSU's Joe Brady, he took a stone age college offense and turned it into an NFL offense. OU's DC Alex Grinch has a talented and experienced Dline and linebackers, but their secondary is young and inexperienced as a unit. Brady confuses and abuses young secondaries to the point it's almost embarrassing. Cocky is thinking the Grinch can steal one away from Joe Brady and Joe Burrow. Not this Christmas. Geaux Tigers

Their only problem is that 25th ranked defenses aren’t good enough. We’ve hung a lot of points on top 5 defenses, nobody gives a frick that their DC took them from 100th to mediocre 25th. Gotta do better than that to stop us

Heard a guy on Sirius XM the other day and he had a good point. Said other than Hurts this is the worst year in memory for Big 12 offenses and QBs.
Said Purdy from Iowa St is the best QB OUs defense faced all year. Let that sink in
Said those defense stats had some fools gold in it. Faced Okie St without their QB, Baylor with a 3rd stringer, TCU with a backup, etc.
Burrow is just a tad better than Purdy...

Purdy is damn good. He was a top 3 or so QB in the Big 12 as a true freshman last year and did t start until mid-season.

The loudmouth Spooner fans on the interwebs don't represent the majority of actual real life fans I encounter here on a daily basis while sporting my standard LSU attire.
This isn't 2003 by any means. It's much more tame than that. These fans know that it will take LSU beating themselves to have a shot in this game.
Aranda with weeks to prepare for a mobile QB... Brady/Ensminger with weeks to prepare for a depleted defense that hasn't ever faced an offense the caliber of LSU's in their careers...
We comin.

I'll be honest, haven't watched Purdy play. I do know the caliber of QB is down overall in that conf. SEC has a Heisman, a Heisman finalist and a Ga QB who made three playoff appearances.
