We have no quality wins, sec play is right around the corner. I haven’t seen any improvement at all. We’re just not a good team, hate to say it

But but but

Did you forget about last year when LSU made that run after losing to Houston

That means it’s going to happen to again this year

Don’t know yet.
3 of 4 loses were by 2 points.
Those 3 losses were to decent teams.
This team looked tons better than the last game.
Smart is not aPG. He makes stupid decisions.

Smart is not the answer right now. He forces shot after shot and is hurting us more than helping. Bench time and let Bishop or graves run point with Mays.

There is still a lot of talent on this team but zero team chemistry. A lot of one on one playing, taking quick shots, not sharing the ball. And as pointed out someone has to step up into the point guard job and it doesn't look like Smart is going to be it. Would much rather have Smart waiting out at the wing as someone else penetrates and kicks it out to him for an open three.

So NIT? Not unless the above is fixed.

Who cares man. We are a football school and we are #1, let the Kentuckys of the world have this crappy sport.

Let's worry about that after we win the Natty in football.

No, from what I’ve seen so far this team will be lucky to break .500 in SEC play.

I thought Wade was the greatest LSU coach of all time? He was declared to be the best coach at LSU, which obviously was, as I said, incorrect.

Oh man I don't know. Tigers look bad, I really can't tell the difference in will Wade vs Johny Jones coaching the tigers. I honestly can't, looks very similar to me. Is it the coach at LSU with same first letter in last name as first name that has a history of not being up to LSU standards??? Jordan jeferson, Johny Jones, will Wade. Lsu needs a whole new strategy cause it obviously is not working. Firing one those assistants would be my first approach.

Too early to write this team off just yet. Until last night’s loss they were basically on the same path as last season (blown leads vs FSU and @ Houston; unmotivated loss to OSU).

Remember, last year’s team played in a TON of close games. They learned how to win them as the season went along. If they can beat a good Liberty team, get off to a good start in SEC play (the league isn’t as good as last year), and win @ Texas, then they can still be right in the thick of it. That’s a lot to ask, but it’s not like this team is getting crushed (when they are motivated to play). I think that 10 day layoff really hurt as they were starting to execute well before the break

USC is a good team. The ETSU loss was the one that was unacceptable. problem is they don't have a true PG. Smart does not make smart decisions. I mean he drove and beat his man and then did a step back 3 point shot. He's shooting around 20%. WTF! Mays neither. Yes, he made some plays that kept them in the game but he also made a couple of bad plays that cost them possessions late. Without a good PG they will probably just be an NIT team. Would like to give Bishop more PT and see if he could grow in that position.

We haven’t looked good, but much of the SEC has been just as bad as we’ve been.

Fire Wade now. I mean why wait around???? He sucks as a coach from what I've seen on here. Get rid of him....
