So not sure how many are familiar with Andy Baker. He operates out of Kingswood S&C in the Houston suburbs.
He helped Mark Rippetoe write the 3rd edition of Practical Programming. He has books for sale and does group programming called Baker barbell club where he has 2 or 3 tracks that you can choose to follow that are for different goals. He is also an expert in training older clients and the elderly in general. Prolly the foremost expert in that regard.
Anyways he has a blog that he puts out a ton of free information on. IMO he rivals Brian Alshure in the quality and depth of his content. Also like Brian, he seems to be a great person overall which is rare in the fitness industry and he has done mutiple tours of duty overseas.
If you have time or are looking for another resource, read his articles

Solid guy and a former Devil. Knows his shite. Trained with him some before he opened his place.
There is no shortage of lifting brain power in Kingwood. Tiny Meeker also has a place here in the Livable Forest.

I finishing up his HLM template over the next two weeks. He’s good and has answered a couple of emails.
