Got him! 45 yds opposite direction of where I thought he’d go. Went in flank area exit low middle of body belly! Not the buck I thought, but one that been mia for 2 months. 5.5 year old 9 point we named blade.

Congrats on going back and finding him.
Ton of take aways from this post.
No blood or sign of hit = dead deer
Dogs don’t always track a dead deer
7mm mag at 60 yards does not equal Thor’s hammer
