Pro style receivers packages do not change receivers. They stay in the game. I believe our packages are for 3 guys and one here and there gets in for a play. Other schools see that and they recruited against our depth and who sat the bench this year.

Palmer did not play Sullivan and Dillion all basically sat the bench. Because of the way LSU runs its offense now.

Or maybe LSU 3 were pretty damn good and the coaches didn't want to take them off the field too often. Plus, it's not like LSU had a ton of multi-number play drives. They scored quick and often.

shite! One guy won the award for best WR. The other had MORE catches, and almost as many yards and TD's, while the third may have ended up with the most TD's had he not missed a month for injury...and you wonder why LSU didn't extensively rotate those guys out?

Yup, I'd rather having a blazing fast 4.3 guy like Boutte than Rakim or Burton anyway.

Palmer and Devonta Smith both rode the bench last year and both were four stars.

People on this board are upset because they care about rankings and stars.

LSU and GA both had 9 receivers with 10+ catches this year.

If GA is pushing this theory it should be easy for Coach O, Ensminger and Brady to respond to it.

But at the same time, we had 2 receivers with 1000 yards receiving and 3 with at least 10 TDs.

Meanwhile, Pickens had 7 TDs and Cager had 4.

Have fun at UGA with that stagnant O.

Evident that playing for a national championship during their college time doesn't mean that much to some of these kids

No, that’s not it lol.

Not all kids want to play at LSU. Bottom line.

Palmer will get his chance next year. Sullivan and Dillon were beaten out by younger players.
If you want to play you have to make plays.

Burton and Rakim would have been nice. BUT, Arik Gilbert is gonna dominate college football as a Tight End in a way that college football has never before seen. At least one of them, if not both, would have been in his shadow the entire time.
