I have left the Democratic Party **Update: pg 6. Toddy is fed up with the Dems too.

Identity politics, socialism, unrestricted immigration, open bathrooms, late term abortions, gender identity issues, the Iran deal, anti Second Amendment, and now impeaching a president because they do not like him. I’ve had enough.
I have resigned my various seats and positions in the Party. I am now a free agent and independent voter. Trump 2020.
ETA: I had been an active member of the Democratic Party for over 20 years and have held a ton of positions and worked for various Democratic public officials. I just can’t defend the party anymore

Yes but that’s when I started to have some real doubts about the party. I was hoping things I was seeing were just little bumps. Those bumps have become policy. Not for me, not any more.
Plus I’m older now and not some overly idealistic 20 year old kid.
