People bashed Jedi FO more than I expected on here.

People said that they like Death Stranding, but that they wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Tough call.

Are you in the mood for Michael Bay or Terry Gilliam?

Way to offer him the extremes.

I worked at Movie Gallery way back when and one of our favorite things was someone bringing up Tank Girl and Requiem for a Dream. We'd look at the boxes, then look at them and go "you're really not going to like one of these".

$25 for Death Stranding is a yes for me at least. I am planning on buying it once it hits $40 or cheaper.

Following the previous Jedi game that came out like 7 years ago, I’ll never buy another one. New one I believe has gotten decent reviews though.

Watched it for the first time the night before Houston's Warped in 2005.

Stayed up for a few days prior. Ran out of blow, so began licking the dollar.

Couldn't find anymore coke, but found enough tabs to keep us up for the drive into Houston.

I believe I saw it for the first time in 2001. I had watched Pi a few months earlier and loved it, so finding out that Aronofsky had another movie was pretty exciting.

Also exciting at the time were the rumors of him doing the Batman reboot, which turned into the Nolan trilogy.

I was late to that party. I'm always late to really good films.

The only film I was early to / pre-cult is Donnie Darko.

Yeah, I saw that one about a year later because it didn't come to the theater in my town. You really had to travel to see cool films back then, especially if you were from a small town. Most of the time Huntsville or Birmingham wouldn't even get them and Atlanta was the closest place. Same with bands too.

I watched Requiem first and it left me feeling really dirty. I discovered Pi after that and felt a lot better afterwards.

My brother still will throw out an "arse to arse" in the worst old white man accent and I want to laugh and puke at the same time

Not comparable. You're not asking the right questions.

The redbox app? And I got both but the Jedi fallen order disc was broken so I got my refund and am just sticking with death stranding.

I didn't see much bashing in the two threads we had. I personally loved the game. Level design can be annoying at times, but this is the best Star Wars single player experience since KOTOR.

JFO was ok up to a point, the no fast travel and only a few planets killed it for me.

I do want to try out DS but on paper it looks like a running sim.
