Jordan Jefferson is a top 10, top 5 or 6 in most categories, all time Tiger.

The system definetely handcuffed him and his numbers are a ton better than I remembered.
Run, run, pass didnt help him any.
Just remember a lot of third and 7's when he drops back, looks confused, throws incompletion or gets sacked.
Likely not as much his fault though and I used to think.

Grant Delpit was a better 9 than 7.

Thank goodness Burrow legitimized the number 9.

frick off.

JJ still has one more career win than Burrow. People acting like he was awful don’t know shite.

JJ had the misfortune of taking that snap against OM in 08 (granted the sack before that was even worse but most only think of the last play) and being behind the worst beating of an OL in LSU history on 1/9. Those two games overshadow what was a solid career.

Not to mention other great #9s like Early Doucet and Devery Henderson just off the top of my head.

Burrow is the GOAT and he should be the last Tiger to wear #9 but threads and comments like these make it a miracle the Jeffersons ever sent another son, much less two, to play for this fanbase.

Tell me your not serious. Jefferson was serviceable but nowhere near a top 10 player much less QB at LSU.

I was actually pleased to hear LSU is no longer in the business of retiring numbers. (I hope that is accurate.)

They will retire the jersey though and they will build a statue.

Serious question. Pardon me if I am missing the obvious.
How can you retire a jersey but not the number?
If the jersey is retired and no one ever wears it again, isn't that the same as retiring the number?

Bobby Bouche also #9.

Just like #20 and #21......it is time to retire #9 right after the play offs

Great LSU moment when JJ was on ESPN and asked to name a famous Jefferson in American History...he came up with: “George.”

OH LAWD!

I’m sure they are very happy with their boys playing for LSU.

I don’t think it is fair to be hard on JJ, Les never let him or Jarrett take over.

Look at his fricking career stats, he's in the top 10 in virtually every category and top 5 or 6 in many.

I dont give a frick about you geniuses opining that you think he was this or that. The numbers dont lie.

And anybody still trying to shite on Jordan fricking Royalty at LSU Jefferson is a total fricking idiot and should gtfo.
