Where the Hell is the screen pass to Clyde?
I know it was ran at the beginning of the season a few times. Maybe the secret playbook has not fully been used yet?
And....this is all I got Hoss

Are we supposed to run plays just to run them?

Pressure from the blitz package from Georgia was an example.

it is the only thing we have left to use.
we used it against GSU. i have been clamoring for RB screens for ages now. only 2 games left? sandbagging?
we did not use any seams like saints until ole miss and no posts until arky.

how many times has joe had to run against a blitz or get sacked or make a quick throw hoping WR can get off and open quick enough? we saw men blitzing freely against OM. we coulda used screens there. we definitely neecded them.

They’ve ran two recently for like zero yards
It’s not as of an effective post from the shotgun

I remember Rohan wr screen to Reed was a beautiful thing to watch

maybe we are just not good at it. coach O sees it in practice so he knows.

yep but that was a BUBBLE screen. the TUNNEL screens are great also. jimbo used all that. we use tunnels also. we also used other quick horizontal stretches to WRs. see ole miss game. florida, auburn etc.

Well last time I checked jugular joe burrow torches a defense when they blitz. Plus you have to execute a screen almost perfect for them to work. Screens are a little harder to run than you think also this is not what we are I like what we are

Saints offense
This may be the saints offense circa 2009-13, but its definitely not the saints offense of the past few years.
How many times do the saints run 4 and 5 wide anymore? Te seam routes for LSU?
I guess the route tree is pretty similar as well as the routes CEH runs from the back field
Honestly It's a lazy comparasion

Teams with good defenses have used several versions of rush 3-4 with spy, press man, and deep zone.
Try to get negative plays and incompletions and gang tackle clyde. That's about the only way to stop burrow.
Screen passes dont typically work well against that.
The rest of the teams that dont have a defense that matches up... why should you take the risk of a screen when you can just hand it off to clyde for huge chunk runs?

Because 2019 Brees arm is not as strong as 2006 Brees
And their playbook is not wide open anymore. Hell son our second best reciever is that lazy Kamara

they still use those. saints use lots of ACE under center tho as we are mainly SHOTGUN

Yeah you might be right, but I hardly see a draw play from the RB

No need to call a screen pass when we can go 5 wide, and line CEH in the slot to take advantage of the LB covering him. The Joe Brady / Saints passing game is all about finding mis-matches and exploiting them. Nobody in CFB can guard CEH 1 on 1 in the open field
