I think this is what people get wrong. It is Saints passing concepts but it isn’t the Saints offense.
It’s basically Saints passing concepts mixed in with Moorehead’s RPO scheme from Penn State.

This is another one of those posts that are so damn dumb that you click on them just to downvote.

We've run it a fair amount, especially if you compare to the previous couple of years. However, couple of notes:
A) It's probably a read, if we suspect zone it's not an option on read/audible.
B) Most of our check downs are in the middle of the field with a reciever (including RB & TE) entering the zone late after a clear out by WR. This is something that most don't realize and most teams can't/won't do. If pressure comes from outside, we're going to look to the middle (step up in pocket) and RB/TE might chip but isn't going to worry about that pressure and be the late route in the middle. This is the scenario where you pre-guess and run wide screens. I.e., our reads and post-snap adjustments 'override' that pre-snap guess; it is a better option.
C) In the grand scheme of things when we have other reads/plays working for us, the RB screen wide is just not that effective comparatively. For us, in this offense, the RB screen is a setup play for other-better plays. Hence the sparing use.
D) Lol, we still don't run them very well. Better, but instead of a bread and butter play it's a hard tack and salt play for us. It's the play that got Emery in trouble.

There is so much LSU still hasn't done with this offense.
Let that sink in for a bit.
No, this isn't like the secret playbook from the Miles regime either. This is real.
