Looking for a place to take 10 people for lunch in the Baton Rouge area that might take reservations. Looking for seafood/cajun as some of us are coming in from out of state.
Thoughts?

How nice of a meal are we talking? I'm sure Juban's could accommodate.

Roux 61! The Delta Queen
all the fried platters are great.. and huge portions! Parrains used to be my "go-to" for big parties with out of state folks, but i've switched to roux 61 lately and they have loved it

No real limit on cost. Never been to Juban’s for lunch but dinner has always been good.

I called Roux 61 and they don’t take reservations but they think they can accommodate us. Love their food by the way.
I noticed Don’s on Airline looks to be closed. When did this happen? It was a sketchy area but the food was always good.

They are still open in Denham Springs one exit out of BR. The one on Airline was a casualty of the location.

Rouj Creole is a good new spot. It's not just a regular fried seafood restaurant though. If you want that go to Acme Oyster House, Roux 61 or Mike Andersons.
Willie's on Coursey is good too.

I’d rather get away from all fried of possible. I will check out Rouj Cajun menu and location. Thanks

They have good lunch specials. They have a half shrimp poboy, fries, salad and hush puppies for like $8-9. One of my favorite takeout orders for lunch.

It's in front of Perkins Rowe off of Bluebonnet right next to Orvis. They've only been open maybe 6-8 months but the wife and I have been 3 times and it was excellent each visit.
