Agree, most people probably thought December was safe. Glad they were wrong!

People that don't let their lives be dictated by the mere possibility of an LSU game being on one of the biggest days of their lives.

As a single female, if I ever found Mr Right at my age I would never schedule my wedding during football season. Saturday is for LSU and Sunday is for the Saints.

Spring or summer weddings are the only way to go.

I've got a concert to go to at the same time as the wedding in the OP, but fortunately there is an opening act. Maybe your event can get a lesser couple to marry before the main couple takes the stage and you can still make the show.

I was in Vegas for the Bama game and watched at Tilted Kilt. It's a good place if you like scantily clad bartenders.

I wouldn't be at a single persons wedding during this game, including my own.

In general it’s dumb to schedule weddings during football session , but If you do and it’s in BR it should be on an open date for LSU. If you can’t do at least that then you’re just a selfish count

I am 50 so there’s that! I’m probably old enough to be his mom.

Record the game and watch it later. LSU football games come and go each year, but family and friendships are what's most important in life. It's those times together with our families and friends, during both the good times and the bad times, that we remember most in life. It should always be God, Family, and friends being 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in life then you can rank the less than important stuff afterwards. I love LSU football, don't get me wrong, but I'd miss any game if it meant I could see my deceased father again. Just got the news my Uncle, my dad's youngest brother, has passed away. Keep your friends close, and your family closer Billy Bob You won't ever regret it. Go enjoy and help celebrate that wedding, and trust that LSU will take care of business.

It’s one thing to schedule during the Bama game, but we haven’t been in the SEC championship in 8 years. You can’t avoid every date just because it’s possible there might be a game played.
