Only 16-17 against teams that finished with a winning record though.

Les Miles was good against non-Alabama teams too

Michigan has a proven coach who’s “one of us.” However good Michigan does with Jim Harbaugh is how good Michigan is.
Nebraska is in a similar spot.

Didn’t Michigan tie for the division last year? That’s what got them to the Peach right?

You know you don’t get notifications on here like other forms of social media, right? This isn’t twitter, dumbass.

Yep. They were #4 in the CFP rankings before the Ohio State game, and and would have made the playoff had they won out. Instead they lost to Ohio State 62-39 and then Florida 41-15.
Except 2017, Harbaugh has had them one game off the division lead in the other years. He just can't get them over the hump.

He was hired to beat OSU. He hasn’t. Everyone is aware of it including the media. They say it constantly

The obvious difference in Ohio State and Michigan is speed. The question is why can't Michigan recruit to Ohio State's talent level? They're both football crazy schools with a ton of money in the Midwest. Ohio has more in state talent than Michigan but the difference isn't egregious enough to explain the talent gap. They both have large, national fan bases and massive stadiums. Columbus is a really awesome city and I've never been to Ann Arbor, but I assume it isn't so shitty that location is the difference in recruiting pitch. So what is it?

The mgoblog guy, who usually writes a decent game postmortem on Monday, went full melt and cried about OSU basically cheating. My understanding is Urban just did a masterful job of picking off elite guys around the country to mix in with the Ohio talent. While Michigan can get some studs here and there, they just don't have elite depth like OSU.

mgoblog is always fun to read.
They have a blog post up right now, melting because Justin Fields takes online classes and he doesn't take academics seriously like all the Michigan players do.
It's fricking hilarious to watch them pretend to be elite when they get their asses beat. It's their first reaction after yet another loss. And they really wonder why people can't stand them.

Jim Harbaugh, Michigan's version of John Cooper.
Cooper won the Rose Bowl in 1997 and the Sugar Bowl in 1999. Harbaugh has only gotten to the 2017 Orange Bowl and lost

He won a Orange or Fiesta Bowl at Stanford and he was at the peach bowl last year. You may want to check your facts again

Harbaugh hasn't pissed away nearly as much talent as Cooper did. Mark Richt is the only coach that I can think of on Cooper's level in that category.

I wish I was as smart and successful as Andrew Luck. I just remember watching them slaughter Va Tech and lose an instant classic to Oklahoma State in that Fiesta Bowl.
