Trout have made it north to the 210 area and it’s a SS with the number of boats. Watched an idiot run between a yak on my port side and another boat this morning with 50 yds clearance.

If any glitter boat dipshits swamp my Hobie then I will straight up murder them back at the landing. Call it making a payment on the "stupid" tax.

When the yakkers start paying use taxes like I do for my glitter boat then I'll start giving them a care.

Then you hit one, kill 1 and go to trial and this post is presented by the DA.

it should be mandatory to have 8 ft high pole with orange flag on a yak

its a basic safety item just like a damn life jacket in my book

i came around a bend in my flatboat and almost hit a yak because it was camo, he was wearing camo, and hes 38" off the water at best.

it was one of those unavoidable situations but if he had a flag i wouldnt have made the turn on plane. thank goodness i missed him and he admitted he should have had some kind of marker or wear orange vest. yes i pulled up and made sure he was ok, i didnt just keep on going

if i had a yak im pretty sure i would have 2 and maybe 3 bright orange flags on poles mounted on my boat so i dont get run over

Yakkers are the most inconsiderate people on the water. I had one literally drive over my 7 year old sons cork and when I said something about it his reply was “I’m in a yak bro”.

Yes that one encounter makes all “yakkers” inconsiderate

I’ve seen plenty of boaters do the same thing.

Bottom line is some people suck, don’t generalize it to a specific type of vessel

Something something sarcasm, I hope. Non propelled can’t get out of the way or even attempt to out maneuver a propelled craft. Guy was evidently in a hurry to clean his dozen fish they caught.

i agree, people in glitter boats take a lot of heat, but i see more disrespectful yakkers than i do glitter boaters. i had one come paddling by between my boat and the bank i was fishing at false river bc he was too lazy to go out around the ends of the pier. a lot of them just feel like they can do whatever bc they're in a yak

It looks like it was an all around circus today. Bay boats, t-tops, bass boats, ski boats, bateaus...it’s only fitting you throw a yak or two in there

I have a kayak and boat. Seen very few rude kayakers. Could write a book on rude boats. The best is coming through a canal on plane past boats and kayaks like no ones there. Others get right up on you while you are catching thinking they have the green light. Nope

This is why I always come down off plane right next to kayakers.

Add in a 10-20mph wind and it’s going to be amazing.
