I tried not to repeat directors and in some cases picked a movie that is my favorite when a director's other films may be considered "better". Tried not to pick too many from one country. And tried to pick a few modern films.
1. Citizen Kane
2. Casablanca
3. Chinatown
4. Godfather
5. Ran
6. 400 Blows
7. Dr. Strangelove
8. North by Northwest
9. Goodfellas
10. Crimes and Misdemeanors
11. The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie
12. Double Indemnity
13. 8 1/2
14. Once Upon a Time in the West
15. Raising Arizona

6. 400 Blows
7. Dr. Strangelove
8. North by Northwest
9. Goodfellas
10. Crimes and Misdemeanors
11. The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie
12. Double Indemnity
13. 8 1/2
14. Once Upon a Time in the West
15. Raising Arizona
16. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
17. Berlin Alexanderplatz

Do you want me to use as is? Or do you want more time with them?

It's not so bad, promise. It definitely won't get a ton of oldies or foreign movies on the list, but there is a nice mix so far.

Hopefully it balances out in the end.
I've been looking at different rankings, or for a formula on the spreadsheet to level out some values (Avg. position, avg. points, etc.), but nothing works so far. Maybe should include on or two other sets of data (S&S list or afi list?)
Update: 91 movies have multiple listings, so only 9 movies list to make sure that all 100 have at least 2 people listing it.

24 Ballots
Top 10 stacked with obviously popular films, but not a terrible mix.
98 films have multiple votes, so only 2 spots left.
Spielberg in the lead now with 5 films in the 100, Hitchcock sits at 4, with Coens, Tarantino, Scorcese.
1994 and 1999 seem to be the most well-liked years of film.
My qualms:
Not enough foreign movies in the 100. Only 1 Bergman and Kurosawa, no Fellini, no Tarkovsky. But that kind of stuff to be expected.
Snow White is absent as well, surprisingly.
Some movies missing that I figured would be shoe ins - namely Gladiator (even though I hate it, I know tons love it), Life is Beautiful, and Titanic.
<----------Sad that City Lights is quickly fading....no one else must have seen that movie. Maybe I'll make a thread about its awesomeness, plenty of places to watch it online.

Cool if we group the Dead movies?
And you've got Goodfellas twice...that opens up two spots total for you.
