I feel like Baylor needs to open the vault for Matt Rhule. What he has done at Baylor is nothing Short of a miracle. They will likely beat Texas and have a good shot at beating OU in the Big 12 championship. Some other school, or an NFL team can easily come poach him. Don't care how much he enjoys it at Baylor, or how much he says he loves the school, if a big name came calling, he would lave.

Well, they already extended him this year, so there's that.

We have no idea what he's getting paid, though. Probably enough.

NFL will poach him and no amount of money will prevent it

Kind of funny, it was a joke when that was announced back then because Baylor was coming off a rough season. Thought he was just trying to get out of dodge. But guess he was just getting his name involved for the future

Baylor is a good job. If they pay him, he may stay. New stadium and surrounded by talent.

Rhule's next step is the NFL. And he's happy at Baylor in the meantime

He’s the best coach at a Texas school by a long shot

I hate Baylor so I don’t care, but this is the mentality puts a university in a bad position. Let him develop a longer track record first.

I tend to agree and also I think Baylor was in much position than than people let on

They had a ton of talent left when he got there plus Charlie Brewer. People acted like he took over SMU after the death penalty.

They also had great recruiting classes and a brand new stadium.

Not saying he’s not a good coach, but it wasn’t THAT bad

Loved his work at Temple, now Baylor, and was impressed by him on ESPN Coaches Room coverage on CFP Natty Title Gm two years ago.

Seems a great down and distance college HC mind, and tough persona..do think the NFL will come calling.
