I understand this draft class has a lot of good WRs and JJets (supposedly) has questionable speed. But there are plenty of great WRs in the NFL who aren t burners (Jarvis Landry, Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Thomas) and I see Justin as a guy who will have a long and successful NFL career. He has the hands, route running, and big play ability which will make him a very wealthy man in the future. I think he is a steal if he slips below the 2nd round.

His separation will come from his crafty route running. If he has a qb that can throw a well placed ball then his YAC won't be too shabby either. Hunter Renfrow is a guy who is not the fastest but runs good routes and has good hands.

Personally I really think he will time pretty fast in the 40 and shoot up draft boards...just my opinion though

I think all 3 will be Pro Bowl caliber guys. If DJ Chark can lead the NFL in receptions then these 3 should be just as good as Odell and Jarvis

McShay has moved him into the middle of his top 32. On Russillo's pod last week Daniel Jeremiah included Jefferson with Juedy and Ruggs when talking about the top of the upcoming WR class.

I’ve seen him mocked in the first round by non bias respected mock sites.

I don’t know that I believe he’s a first rounder, but he is awesome.

DJ Chark went first round and is performing at a very high level in the NFL. If he was in this offense he would have video game numbers AND he was a special teams stud. Our guys are good but now we are saying all 3 are pros bowlers?

Yeah Daniel Jeremiah said that Jefferson’s GPS stats are off the charts and he thinks he will run in the 4.3s. He’s a long, smooth strider so it might not look like he’s a burner, but his GPS stats say otherwise and he runs by a lot of people and never / rarely caught.

He’s a lot faster than he gets credit for. I think he will have a faster 40 than Chase

Jefferson is going in the first round lol. He will be the 2nd or 3rd WR taken. No one will be surprised

Would love to see him catching passes from Burrow in a Saints jersey

DJ isn't leading the NFL in anything. He has been very good for the Jags this year though.

Chark was a very late 2nd round guy. And I agree he was better than Jefferson IMO. Jefferson will have the stats to back him up though. If he performs well at the combine he could be a first rounder. I could see him being more Jarvis and slipping to the 2nd or even 3rd.

That would be nice. Add to that, Burrow and Thomas were teammates at OSU as well.

Lots of misinformation in here. DJ is having a great year but not even in the top 20 for receptions...Michael Thomas leads the NFL.

DJ Chark was not a first rounder.

my god our fans are so fricking dumb... Chark was in NO way better than JJ in college. Not stats wise.. not skill wise.. nothing. I cannot believe JJ is STILL getting disrespected. after last year he still was but I let it go. frick any fan still disrespecting his skill. Dude is an absolute baller.

DJ Chark thru 24 games: 66 Recs, 1351 yards, 6 TDs

JJ thru 26 games: 125 Recs, 1885 yards, 17 TDs

and JJ was in a crappy offensive scheme last year so don't even mention that. JJ's worst year is better than Chark's best

While I've always liked Chark and told people plenty times that he bailed out Etling, I never expected him to be much more than a deep ball WR in the NFL. You know that #2 guy that has the burners. He is already having a great season this year and is by far the best Jags wideout.

I believe Jefferson will become someone's reliable #1 WR because he's tough, knows how to get open, and has played multiple WR positions. I would think the Bengals should go after him if they get Burrow. It makes sense on multiple levels and (chemistry and he's not injury prone like the other Bengal WRs are).

I don’t think he’ll “surprise” anyone. They already know he’s got the goods!
