It's really pathetic. Ohio State has not played near the schedule we have. Our SOS is so much better, it's not even funny.

We average allowing around 24 points a game. It’s not like Vandy is an offensive juggernaut but we still let them score nearly 40 points, their second highest point total all season.

There is room to disagree, but to act like there is no merit for attacking the defense because “muh SOS” is absurd.

Especially because OSU are only 4 slots behind us.

Or are you still calling 4 loss Texas a top ten team/signature win.

This narrative of half a team isn’t completely out of nowhere. Vandy, Ole Miss, Texas and Florida have had some of their best Offensive days this season vs LSU. All very different teams and schemes so it’s not just one things.

Go ahead lock down vs Ark, A&M and UGA and watch how the narrative changes.

You're counting Cincinnati and Florida Atlantic.

Sorry, only real conferences count

Um.

Wow.

You DO realize that even if you take those two out you just match LSU’s number and therefore still have no excuse to not be able to put up similar defensive numbers as OSU?

I mean seriously?

Are people really this vocal about defending the defenses performance down the stretch?

Honestly this narrative and situation has the silver lining of keeping this team focused after the Bama win. Make no mistake that even though we have larger goals overall if we were getting praise heaped on us right now it would be hard mentally to not feel like as a team you've already accomplished the main goal and climbed the mountain to the top of college football while getting a bit complacent.

it’s just to get people watching/listening/discussing the rankings at the top.

the top 6 didn’t change at all. none of those teams played anyone worth bragging about. none were a serious threat to lose.

so to drum talking points, you push whatever you can.

Been saying what a disaster the "defensive genius" has been for sometime. However, all the Aranda cultists tell you how crazy you are. Has anyone watched this chicken manure defense play this year?? Awful!!! Down vote all you want.

Could you imagine how good LSU would be if they had a full team? They’d be 20-0 and ranked even higher by now!

Ohio State has not given up more than 21 points in a game. LSU has given up 38 to Texas and Vandy, 28 to Florida, 41 to Bama, and 37 to Ole Miss. I understand some of these games are better opponents than what Ohio State has played, but certainly not all of them, specifically Vandy and Ole Miss.

Its not pathetic at all to think Ohio States defense has been better than LSUs. It would be more unusual to think LSUs defense has been better. The good thing is that there is still time to improve and turn it around when it matters most. LSU definitely has the players and coaches to get it done.
