Why México City? Why not focus on filling up all the stadiums in the USA first?

Potential landing spot for the Chargers.

you didnt like the mariachi band playing mnf theme music ?

If the NFL was smart they would have sent the Chargers to Vegas and the Raiders back to LA. Both teams would have had big support.

London is far more likely than Mexico City.

I can see London over México City. Mexico in general has a enough problems to worry about like their economy, crime, just to name a few. NFL is way down the list.....

The NFL doesn't want to deal with an international hostage crisis of Joey Bosa?

I wonder if rivers loaded up all 13 of his kids in his RV and road tripped to Mexico City

Mexico City is great. And massive. The areas where Americans/tourists go is very nice.

I couldn't imagine an early September noon game in Mexico City. 110 degrees in that smog and altitude (stadium is something like 7500 feet above sea level) would be absolutely unbearable.

frick Mexico. And frick Azteca.
I don’t know what the hell the NFL is expecting to get out of this third world country by playing there.
The same piece of shite Mexicans in the stands have no problem throwing shite at our American soccer players when we play there.
I wish someone on the chargers or chiefs would have simply said I’m not playing there. The field is shite too. Every time someone cuts tons of grass come up.

Mexicans fricking love football. Huge market. And don’t tell the poli board but Mexico City is a world class city, not to mention one of the world’s largest.
It’s less than 2 hour flight from Houston and in the central time zone. Makes way more sense than London IMO. Though I’d also consider Toronto or Vancouver as well. Mexico makes the most sense though in terms of new fans IMO.

You realize the average high in Mexico City is like 70-80 degrees year round right? With very low humidity.
Amazing climate

Also I’m pretty sure Mexico knows how to build a dome. shite, who do you think does the building over here
ETA: the bigger problem is it’s high AF. 50% higher elevation than Denver. Altitude sickness is no joke going there. Big home team advantage. Can probably kick a lot farther too.
