Removed by who? If he does it, it is because the owners want him to. Goodell is the public face of the owners.

Mexico City is too dangerous.

All depends on where you stay. There are many parts of american cities like Baltimore, St. Louis. & New Orleans that are far more dangerous the average neighborhood in Mexico City. There is safe neighborhoods.

TV audience. Trying to be more like the NBA with world wide appeal.

This. Foreign markets are a big deal in expanding a league's potential.

I doubt this is a precursor to a move, but Mexico City isn't a bad landing spot. It's the largest city in North America, so the fans are there.

People talking about crime are just using a Mexico = bad view. Mexico City has a lower murder rate than Baltimore, Detroit, New Orleans and Atlanta, just among NFL cities.

LOL at idiots thinking that Mexico City is dangerous or hot.

But the altitude is a real problem.

Yeah, but that's vs 14.8 in ATL and higher in Baltimore, Det and NO.

I'm not saying Mexico City is crime free, no major city is, but there are worse NFL cities right now.

And don’t tell the poli board but Mexico City is a world class city, not to mention one of the world’s largest.

And yet millions of Central Americans pass it up and go straight to America.

The biggest hangs up aren’t crime or climate. It’s going to elevation and players wanting to stay there.

Hell nba players struggle with Canada.

Mexico City actually makes somewhat sense for the NFL. Travel would be less of a burden and its not 5-8 time zones over from other NFL cities

Thats like the only thing Mexico city has over London, and its only like 3 hour difference for much.

Yeah, but the Raptors have been a consistent playoff team and won a ring last year.

I don't think the NFL is expanding or relocating soon, but it isn't crazy to think Mexico City would be a good international option. It doesn't have half the logistic issues London does.

Ultimately, doing games in Mexico City is about getting an international fanbase, not as the precursor to a franchise.

Yeah and then leonard bounced ASAP.

Players straight out of college would be in for culture shock in Mexico City.

Mexicans like two teams, the Raiders and the Cowboys.

The “tougher” element supports the Raiders.

Allstars like Lowry, Derozan, etc. have been happy in Toronto for many years.

After being in cultural bastions like Tuscaloosa, Mexico City might feel a little funny, but I'm figuring players can adjust.

theres the difference. even if its just a few players that complain about being in Canada, a place where if you got dropped off blindfolded you wouldn't know you left america VS a place that speaks Spanish, is 2.5 flight from the closest major US city, and all in all a complete culture shock. If just a few people in a league of only 450 complained about Toronto, think how many will complain in the NFL of 1696 about mexico A lot.

Mexico city is awesome. I'd think any player would take that any day over Canada in the winter months.......
