Fans are allowed to voice their concern over our defense giving up so many yards/points.

What's non-sense is thinking a message board should never discuss the shortcomings of a performance.

The fact that LSU has a QB that will probably win the heisman is wild.

I really hate statements like this. It’s so patronizing. Like recruits aren’t intelligent enough to watch that game and see for themselves that the defense has problems. “Oh man, those posters on Tiger Rant are saying the defense is bad. I guess I’ll go somewhere else.”

Most of these kids know a lot more about football than anybody on this board. They don’t need us to tell them.

Thrilled LSU won and put up points like that but offense will only carry them so far look at the New Orleans saints in recent years they didn't win a super bowl until they had both offense and defense clicking

Agree with you. the negates, frustrated that Coach O is about to be coach of the year, have now resorted to the panic ledge on the defense as we are #1. Smell the roses while you can mega punks. Remember, there was a 45 year fro 1958-2003 in which we NEVER #1. Go Tigers.

What about the other 38 threads complaining about fans discussing the defense.

Hey moron - some of us were pointing out the offenses issues for years, even when we entered November in the top 4 in several instances. We knew it would be the thing that killed us and kept us from getting where we wanted to go.

Similarly, those of us that are smart enough, can see the defenses issues being the thing that will hurt us in a game that matters. So we're going to point it out and discuss it instead of sticking our head in the sand.

Doesn't mean we aren't enjoying the offense and the teams success. But its clear we have some significant defensive issues between talent, scheme, and individuals ability to stick to their assignment. Hell, we have a higher percentage of our back 7 who are completely inept at taking a proper angle than those that can take good angles.
