I agree. Did you see how many voters actually voted for Rispone? That is a lot of people who mindlessly vote a certain way no matter what.

As a TX resident I agree

In fact I just personally probably burned some bridges thanking them for their incompetence.

Neither you nor the knot headed imbecile governor amount to a pimple on Rispone’s arse.

How is this fixed? I absolutely love Louisiana but until change is wanted change can’t be expected

Rispone was a poor candidate in my opinion. He did nothing to generate buzz in the cities in Louisiana. He (and JBE) both ran lazy campaigns.

I’m talking about the economic development. What is the last business building built in Louisiana? IBM built by LED in 2014?

frick Louisiana. Texas & Georgia welcome you to business

I see your point. And, if Louisiana got a candidate that ran on getting rid of the state income tax I'd support them regardless of party affiliation because I think getting rid of the state income tax would be the best thing to make this state attractive to outside businesses. Giving away state incentive packages to businesses is not a good thing because once the incentives run out the businesses may leave and some have left Louisiana. With no state incomes taxes you make Louisiana an attractive state to people outside this state and in turn the businesses will stay because their employees want to stay.

We have no shot of attracting businesses without it. Texas is already eating out lunch.... not state tax, no personal tax. They are burdening businesses with taxes on utilities, MM&E, etc. Plants, which use the industrial tax exemptions are going to just up and leave when they've spent billions to build a plant. Shell has been here over 100 years. ExxonMobil is close to that i believe. The fallacy that we have the river, rail and pipeline infrastructure, they will come is false. We are not only competing against Texas for business but now we compete with overseas.
