We have to be ready for reverses, fake punts, half back passes, early on side kicks, and them going for it on 4th down.

Their passing game may be showing some signs of life and their run game is solid and diversified and number 1 in the SEC.

Whatever trick plays and previously untried passing game they have up their sleeve will come out Saturday.

They hung 31 on Alabama this year and would love to play the spoiler in Oxford.

They’re better than the 4-5 record indicates (some close losses) - but they aren’t good enough to beat LSU.

They have a good run game, just don’t have the passing attack to keep up. And they don’t have the DB’s to stop LSU (no one does).

Romaro Miller for crying out loud.

Romaro Miller wasn’t their QB that game. It was Stuart Patridge.

They’re actually using the Coach O template to build their program. Matt Luke is an Ole Miss guy that the kids love and they’ve brought in 2 first rate coordinators to call games for him. The way to avoid the trap is to avoid the Les Miles approach to lesser opponents. After a weak performance in the Towson game 2012 Sam Montgomery said in an interview that “we don’t gameplan for games like this” he basically said we go out run our stuff and figure we’ll just beat them on talent. That’s how you fall into traps and I haven’t seen Orgeron do this at LSU. Yes we lost the Troy game but that was because of totally different issues. The final reason is Joe Burrow, he’d have to come out turning it over multiple times and I just do t see him doing that.

I'm sure our "defensive genius" won't give up over 32.

And unfortunately we left Vandy with key injuries due to not putting them away.

I'm not the least concerned bout Ole Miss' vaunted offense. Sure they've racked up scads of yardage and points, but who were the opponents? And they beat Arkansas and Vandy. Big deal. I'm...not impressed.

Still-it is a rivalry game and Ole Miss has some good players...and the game is in their backyard.....classic trap game but I also think Bama going into Starkville against the Dawgs-who finally have all their players back from suspensions and injuries is a possible trap game for Bama as well....

Here's what Champions do...they walk on the field every week with one thought...DOMINATION!! Many fans will have trouble forgetting the past insecurity and be afraid of games like this.

I wrote a thread early last week saying the Bama game would all be about what our players/coaches thought about LSU, not Bama. It was obvious in the first drive that we weren't scared to dominate. This team has Championship mentality which means they refuse to lose to teams like Ole Miss!

Have played everyone close outside of Bama

Missouri wasn't really as close as the score indicates. it was a blowout until very late an they still lost by 2 scores. They also played SELA and Arkansas close, which isn't exactly a good thing.

We are going to blow out Ole Miss
