I agree, but that wasn't the point of the post. I'm not afraid to play Bama again and it would be a major shift in recruiting momentum if they got spanked a second time this year by us.

This team has the talent and stones to do it.

If we play them with tua 100%, it would be a high scoring shoot out. Think our offense could still score at will, but theirs would be better with Tua running instead of taking those coverage sacks.

All that can be ended if we beat them again this year. We can end the bias, entitlement and eye test bullshite!

Exactly. They don't deserve another shot. It's that simple. They haven't earned it on the field. The eye test is just something the media can use to justify their agenda.

Explain to be how the eye test would favor Bama over a 12-1 PAC XII champ Oregon that won 12 straight games and had to play an extra championship game against top ten ranked Utah?

So you're ok with the media doing what they did in 2011, and basically saying that Saturday's win in Tuscaloosa didn't matter, because that's exactly what they're doing.

Let me be clear - I'm not okay with them backing in...I'm just saying that I'm not afraid of playing that Alabama team again and that playing them again would give us a HUGE opportunity to shift the momentum in recruiting.

17-year-olds would think twice about going to a program that got spanked by their rival twice in one year.

And Alabama made there greatest mistakes in the first half that allowed LSU to build the huge lead. If Tua doesn’t fumble inside the 10 and throw that int with 30sec left, who knows. All I do know is the rematch would not be the same with Saban having a month to prepare for it. Ask all the nfl teams how tough it is to beat conference rivals twice a year, sure the saints wouldn’t agree with you.

Auburn's D is going to shut down a 100% or even 150% healthy Tua Turndaballova. He can't handle pressure and they will bring it. Bama is out and the decline is real.

3 of their scores were flukes...

1. Caught Stingley looking to the sidelines on trick play
2. Punt return that should have been tackled
3. Garbage-time touchdown in last 2 min

No disrespect, but you're a fool if you think Bama bias will go away so easily. The eye test is a joke. It's just something that the media and committee can use to justify their agenda. It's about fairness and the ability to be impartial, at least that's how it is for me. The current system is neither fair nor impartial.

Keep in mind they made mistakes the entire game. Things I’ve never seen Alabama do against us..

I don’t trust Nix to beat Bama. But I do believe their defense will give them a chance. That DL against an immobile Tua. I like that.

Not nearly as worried about a rematch this time.

1. We have better coaches than last time
2. It took fluke plays for them to stay in it
3. O said he was going to beat that arse every time he meets them and O doesn’t lie

i am not afraid to play them either but its the fact that if they make it...the game holds no weight from here on out...LSU and Bama will then have the argument from then on that the game doesnt mean anything...i feel like leaving bama out would be more humiliating for them than back dooring them in knowing they dont deserve it...

Right.

Let's just reserve them a playoff spot every year until 2032 since it's obvious that the committee wants them in.

I would prefer not to, but ultimately think we were the better team.

Neither team got super lucky, but it felt like they got a few bounces you don’t get most days, we played in Tuscaloosa, and still won.

I feel pretty confident we are just a better team

so LSU didn't force any of those mistakes? I think most were force

Id agree LSU didnt 'cause' Tua's fumble, that was more due to not playing all year long and not use to LSU's game speed.

It will mean something when they win, but apparently it doesn't carry the same weight when we win. As they did in 2011, the media is currently working to invalidate what happened on Saturday in Tuscaloosa. I'm just not ok with that, and no LSU fan should be. Keeping them out sends the message that what happens on the field does matter. Keeping them out is the same as basically saying that we've looked at your resume and found you to be undeserving. That's more humiliating than letting them in and forcing us to prove it on the field again.
