I agree with you on most of that. I dislike the trend of all controls being on the touch screen. Keep the knobs / push buttons for volume and a/c at the very least.

Put both hands on the steering wheel and you’ll find the buttons on the back to change stations/volume

I think that's because a lot of new vehicles are becoming "fly by wire," less shite to break, less parts, not that any of the cost savings will be passed on to the consumer though
