That is great news for MSY to add more service to Heathrow. A direct flight to Paris would be great

New Orleans is the #5 fastest growing airports in the USA

That is good news. A direct flight to Paris would be huge for tourism

They used to have direct flights between Memphis and Amsterdam. I don’t know why, but it was a thing.
memphis was a hub for the old northwest airlines, which was affiliated with KLM.

I'm curious how many people from the MSY service area (MS gulf coast to Lafayette?) fly to Europe daily. And what percentage of those passengers that were flying through US hubs were captured by the BA flight? Is there enough of a demand that AF could warrant a daily to CDG, or are they just fine sending those passengers through ATL or JFK?
It’s more than you think given the number of European companies with significant presence in the upper Gulf Coast.
Also these routes are largely filled with European travelers looking to visit the US.
SM6 can likely pull the final designation data for the i10 corridor airports.

So jelly.
How tf does OKC not have this.

Flown BA, MSY to LHR twice and each time the flight was packed. Those who are considering taking the trip but are not business class ballers I highly recommend paying the extra $200 or so for premium economy.
I have been thinking about visiting London to visit my brother in the AF.
When I was price shopping, I found that you could book the same BA flight through American Airlines cheaper than booking directly with BA.

pretty typical response by someone that doesn't fly very much, has a minor inconvenience, then proclaims that the whole airline sucks, in this case it's just a hearsay anecdote
I give you a more palpable example:
Imagine you're driving at 80MPH on a highway and your airbag suddenly opens. You crash. Become handicapped.
You do everything you can but the car-maker never accepts any responsibility. Not even a sorry.
Would you recommend that company to others? Can you say, well, it's just one car. Others had no issue?
What if they do? Does it worth the risk?
This is how their customer support works. This is how they take care of luggages. They don't track them properly. If you got your bags, this is more about you being lucky - not about how well they do their jobs.
