Can someone give me cliffs on why Bevin is doing so much worse than other repubs?

All other repubs easily won their races. First gop AG ever.

He was his own worst enemy, he called teachers lazy among other things. I honestly thought he'd pull it out, but it looks like people just couldn't hold their noses and vote for him anyway.

He promised to cut teacher pensions and healthcare
he delivered on those promises and now he is being ousted.

He fricked it up worse. He’s not popular here. Hated, in fact. Then he made fun of kids in the schools during the arctic blast last year, saying they weren’t tough enough or something. People here don’t know anything about Andy Beshear, they just voted against Bevin for being a super douche.

Roy Moore lost because he tried dating 17 year old’s in his 30’s. And because the average middle of the road voter, even in Alabama, doesn’t want to live in a fundamentalist Christian theocracy.
JBE is prob going to win again because Rispone A) can’t string two sentences together B) was Bobby Jindals biggest supporter
Good Candidates win elections. Bad ones lose them. People vote for the man/woman not national party general Philosophy in local and state elections.
