that is really the objective...to get the highest ROI and if "time change" isn't a concern, then why aren't all the owners considering moving their teams all over the world? I mean why not have a team in Tokyo? Why not have a team in Shanghai? Where does it stop?
Who’s to say they haven’t looked at it?
Football is exceptionally similar to rugby and England is the closest place that lives rugby. The fact that the speak English is a huge plea in their factor, but if India, Japan, or China suddenly fell in love with the Seahawks and the NFL in general, you better bet your sweet arse games would be played there.l

Nobody says a word when Cards, raiders, chargers, Seahawks, and rams travel to the east coast.
How many times do they do that 4 times and a season? Or 8?

A preseason games is already in discussion
And has been rumored for August of 2020 between the Rams and 49ers
LINK /
Preseason Games were also played in Japan, Germany, Mexico and Australia (and others) up until 2005

Salt Lake City would have issues selling tickets due to Utah being very Mormon and that cult forbidding any member spending money on Sundays.

Move them to London and put them in the NFC East and move the Cowboys to the AFC West.
That would be HILARIOUS!

How does the NBA do it?
Wow, I actually looked
They don’t have any home games on Sunday during the regular season
Also saw an old article but it said they don’t have day home games either
Posted on 11/5/19 at 12:39 pm to Buckeye Backer
yeah, why would you think otherwise?
Posted on 11/5/19 at 12:45 pm to I Bleed Garnet
That’s nuts with a 41 game home schedule. Damn

Correct. NFL purchased the Falcons’ old facilities. They’ve been quietly renovating them and would base the team out of Atlanta. They’d only play games in London, with almost all employees being in the US.
Atlanta makes no sense for an East Coast base of operations. Maine is much closer to London. Sure you have Delta airlines, but the NFL can easily charter flights from Maine to London.
Base in the NFL team in Portland, ME or Boston if they are only going to play games there.

The full quote from Chargers owner Dean Spanos: "It's total fricking bullshite, ok? We're not going to London. We're not going anywhere. We're playing in Los Angeles. This is our home. This is where I'm planning to be for a long fricking time. Period."

To what extent does the NFL need a raise? S
Seems like a commie question.
You just don’t get it.

Well now I’m im sure they definitely will move to London
Posted on 11/5/19 at 1:24 pm to BilJ
The irony of that tweet made me laugh

Not sure.
But that really ain’t the point. Whining about the travel is pretty dumb.
Weird how this site loves to mock the nba, but they travel much worse.

NBA travel is way tougher. There was just an article on ESPN about travel and sleep.
