The Saints are 5-1 in the NFC and the Packers are 4-1 so we hold a very slim tie-breaker at this point. The Seahawks (3-1) hold a slim tie-breaker over the Vikings (5-2)

1. San Francisco (7-0)
2. New Orleans (7-1)
3. Green Bay (7-1)
4. Dallas (4-3)
5. Seattle (6-2)
6. Minnesota (6-2)

The Saints have never played Green Bay or Dallas in the playoffs so the second round could be interesting. The other 3 are VERY familiar foes. Of course...there is still A LOT of football left to be played.

The AFC if anyone cares...but it may take a miracle for anyone to keep the Pats out of another SB
1. New England (8-0)
2. Indianapolis (5-2)
3. Baltimore (5-2)
4. Kansas City (5-3)
5. Buffalo (5-2)
6. Houston (5-3)

Minnesota starting to pick up steam makes me a bit nervous. They always play us tight

Man the dome is going to be rocking for the niners game. Huge game

Crazy that New Orleans was able to beat both teams in back to back weeks without Drew.

Cannot wait for this game.

Green Bay and San Fran will flip spots very soon.

We need both of them to drop a game quickly. Maybe the Niners will lose to Seattle and Baltimore but beat Green Bay. Realistically, we need the Niners to lose two games before or after they play us to make them a probable 13-3.

Wish GB would lose two but I don’t see it happening. Crazy to think a 14-2 record might not even get a 1 seed this year

We will play the Vikings and Rams in the playoffs and beat both to make up for the bullshite losses the previous 2 years

As glorious as that would be I don’t see it happening unless the 49ers start faltering. Rams just aren’t the same team. Vikings aren’t good enough to go on the road and beat Dallas or San Fran or GB in the playoffs.

I think it’s possible we play Seattle though. I could see them knocking off Dallas or San Fran.

I know it’s only halfway, but Indy currently getting a first round bye is crazy

Patriots have played no team worth anything this year. Can’t wait to see what the Ravens do against them.

Of those top 6 teams in the NFC, San Fran is the only one we still have to play. Dallas only has to play one more top 6 NFC team (Minnesota), but the rest have two or more against each other (San Fran has 4 more games against the NFC top 6). We just need to take care of San Fran and rest of the NFC will beat up on each other. We play them the week after the Atlanta Thanksgiving game so we'll have a mini bye going into that one.

Kinda crazy how things change over the season. San Fran and Indy back to back looked like a weaker point in the schedule at the beginning but not any more. Luckily we have both of those at home.

I looked at tickets for the miners game....same as the bama game! Both are huge for the saints and tigers.

What’s the tie breaker after head to head

Edit: it’s my understanding that if Gb and the saints win out it will come down to strength of victory. They currently lead 52 to 39.

Yes, if they both win out they would both have the same record, no head to head, same divisional win percentage, same win percentage between common teams and same conference win percentage so it would be pushed to strength of victory.

Exactly.

I think we both finish 14-2 and I have them ahead of us. Though we could both finish 14-2 and we still get the 1 seed. We just wouldn’t be able to lose any division games or conference games. We’d have to lose to Tennessee if we lose again. And they’d have to lose to the Vikings or Lions or Bears.

I’m really surprised the Bears are 3-4.

I expected them to be leading the North at this point based on their defensive play alone.
